A Travel course is:
- Travel during winter, spring and summer breaks.
- Trips vary from one and six weeks.
- Orientation sessions take place the semester before the trip.
- Credits vary from 1-3 determined by course advisors.
- Travel with friends, class size ranges from 12-24 students.
- Learn about the country's agriculture and industry through visits to farms and local businesses.
- Learn about the culture by seeing tourist and cultural sites and trying the local foods.

- You want an introduction to the world.
- You want to travel with your class.
- You want a snapshot of agriculture in another part of the world.

An Exchange is:
- University agreements allow agricultural students to directly enroll in a partner university abroad for a semester or a year.
You pay ISU tuition and fees, then you pay room and board to your host institution.
- You work closely with your academic advisor to take courses that maximize your interests and benefit your academic program.
AN EXCHANGE IS FOR YOU IF
- You are tired of being a tourist.
- You can speak or want to learn another language.
- You want to truly experience another culture.

Internships |

An Internship is:
- Usually offered for the summer. You submit a resume and letter explaining your job interests and the Ag Study staff looks for an opportunity that fits your academic and personal needs.
- The length of stay is usually determined by you, the participant. Your housing options range from youth hostels, university housing, or host families.

- You are an experienced traveler.
- You want a program made just for you.
- You want an independent experience.
- You want an outstanding reference on your resume.
