International Experiences for Spring 2021 CALS Council Senior Award Recipients

Our office would like to congratulate graduating seniors; Esperanza Moothart, Hans Reinsche, Alyssa Swehla, Madelyn Main, Erin Chalupa and Brianna Gorhamon on being selected for the Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences CALS Council Senior Awards. Each recipient participated in an array of international opportunities during their time at Iowa State University.

Esperanza Moothart CALS Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Award: Esperanza Moothart (global resource systems) participated in a virtual GRS internship with Self Help International.
Hans Reinsche CALS Leadership Excellence Award: Hans Reinsche (agricultural business) participated in the Agricultural Production, Business, and Trade in Argentina travel course during Spring Break 2018.
Alyssa Swehla CALS Academic Achievement Award: Alyssa Swehla (agronomy, global resource systems) participated in Soils, Crops and Water of Costa Rica travel course during Spring Break 2019.
Madelyn Main CALS Distinguished Service Award: Madelyn Main (agricultural business) participated in the Brexit - History, Political Implications And Possible Outcomes in the UK travel course during Spring Break 2018 and spent a semester at the Anglo American University (CEA) in Prague during Spring 2019. 
Erin Chalupa CALS Outstanding Senior Award: Erin Chalupa (animal science) participated in the Service Learning Trip to Uganda during Spring Break 2018 and the Soils, Crops and Water of Costa Rica travel course during Spring Break 2019.
Brianna Gorham CALS Outstanding Ambassador of Agriculture and Life Sciences Award: Brianna Gorham (agricultural business, international agriculture and economics) participated in the Agricultural Production, Business, and Trade in Argentina travel course during Spring Break 2018 and the Service Learning Trip to Uganda during Spring Break 2019.
