My study abroad experience was the highlight of my college experience, and I could not be more thankful to have had this experience!

How did you learn about your study abroad program?

I learned about this program through the Study Abroad Fair.

Why did you choose to participate in this study abroad program?

I always knew I wanted to study abroad in college but wasn’t sure how I would fit it in with my specific course classes. Lorenzo de’ Medici had a lot of general elective classes that fulfilled some of my gen eds that I specifically saved for my semester where I would study abroad. Talking to the Study Abroad staff and peer mentors, I ultimately decided Florence would be the perfect city for my first time abroad. Italy has great transportation and Florence is not too big of a city but still big enough to always have something to do!

What advice would you give to students interested in one of your programs or study abroad in general?

I could not recommend study abroad enough! It gives you skills you don’t learn in the classroom and equips you to be a well-rounded individual.

Anything else you want to share from your experience(s)?

My study abroad experience was the highlight of my college experience, and I could not be more thankful to have had this experience! It is scary to make the decision and commit, but I promise you won’t regret it!
