The Agronomy department has organized this travel course to Costa Rica for over 15 years! Give this episode a listen and learn about student's (Emily Plagman, Jaclyn Smith, Sean Fitzpatrick) experiences from this past spring break!

This study abroad program explores agricultural systems, natural resources, and resource management in Costa Rica. Historical and cultural aspects are also included in discussions. Stops include interactions with many farmers with a history with this ISU course-coffee, highland fruits, organic vegetables, sugarcane, pineapple, and chocolate production.

In this episode, we learn more about the new program, Exploring Ecosystem Services and Subsistence Farming Activities in Rural Nepal.
