Shelley Taylor

Shelley Taylor, Director, Office for Global Engagement, and before that, was the Director of CALS Study Abroad. Shelley’s primary responsibility are to advance the Global priorities of the College which includes graduating global citizens and supporting departments in their global engagement involving international travel, hosting of international visitors and building relationships across the globe. Shelley received her BA from the University of Colorado in international affairs and her MA from Iowa State University in anthropology traveling through CALS’ then ‘International Agriculture Programs’ office to complete her master’s research in Uzbekistan. Shelley co-leads the Dean’s Global Agriculture and Food Leadership program to Rome, is an advisor to ISU’s chapter of IAAS the International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences, co-instructs Globe 320 and Globe 321/322 for Globe students completing their required international internships and completed ISU’s Emerging Leaders Academy in 2021. When not at work, Shelley enjoys travel adventures of all kinds and amateur photography.
