Learn more about dairy production and processing in India. Students will travel to Bhilwadi, India and stay at the Chitale Dairy farm for the duration of the mini-internship. The internship will include exposure to dairy cattle and water buffalo, a milk processing plant, a veterinary diagnostic laboratory, and an agricultural extension program.
This program is open to any undergraduate student (freshmen through super senior) with a major in the agricultural and food sciences (based in College of Agriculture and Life Sciences). No dairy/animal science experience required (but experience can be helpful). Preference will be given to Dairy Science, Animal Science, and Food Science majors. No international travel experience required.
