This is a semester-long CALS exchange program available to students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and ABE students in the College of Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or above. 

The University of Hohenheim is a campus university located in the south of Stuttgart, Germany. Founded in 1818, it is Stuttgart's oldest university. Its primary areas of specialization have traditionally been agricultural and natural sciences. The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) has ranked the University of Hohenheim's agricultural research #1 in Germany and among the best in the world.

Students can take English-taught Master's level courses related to agricultural economics, agricultural sciences in the tropics and subtropics, bioeconomy, crop sciences, environmental protection and agricultural food productions, environmental science (soil, water, and biodiversity), landscape ecology, organic agriculture and food systems, earth and climate system science, food science and engineering, economics, and international business and economics.  

ISU CALS and COE students have the option take English-taught courses at the Master's level or German-taught courses at the undergraduate level for the fall or spring semester.
