This is a semester-long CALS exchange program available to students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a 3.0 GPA or above.

The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) is a teaching and research center for renewable resources. It is BOKU's objective to help make a considerable contribution to the conservation and protection of resources for future generations by providing diversity in its fields of study. Connecting natural sciences, engineering and economic sciences, BOKU hopes to increase knowledge of the ecologically and economically sustainable use of natural resources to provide a harmoniously cultivated landscape.

Students can take German and English-taught courses. The English-taught courses are available at a Master's level and are suitable for upper-level undergraduate students. Students can take English-taught Master's level courses related to environmental sciences, mountain forestry, natural resource management, water management and environmental engineering, limnology and wetland management, horticulture, organic agriculture systems and agroecology, biotechnology, animal breeding and genetics, and more.

ISU CALS students have the option take English-taught courses at the Master's level or German-taught courses at the undergraduate level for the fall or spring semester.
