Steps to participate in a travel course

The CALS Study Abroad office offers faculty-led travel courses on all seven continents! Travel courses are typically 2-3 ISU faculty or staff members traveling with 10-27 students. The program includes a pre-departure class for course credit to learn about components related to the country or course and then 8 days to six weeks of international travel, typically during spring, summer, or fall break. The travel competent is arranged by the ISU faculty and staff that lead the program and all expenses are included in a program fee. Additional costs may apply, depending on the program.
